Jones turned himself in on April 27, after being charged with felony hit-and-run in Albuquerque, NM, injuring a pregnant woman the previous morning. Jones posted $2500 bail and did not enter a plea.
As for the May 23 fight, Anthony Johnson will now be facing Daniel Cormier, whom Jones narrowly edged in a competitive fight on January 3, for full recognition as UFC's Light Heavyweight Champion.
For his part, Jones tweeted out today, "Got a lot of soul searching to do. Sorry to everyone I've let down."
