Bucks, Hawx, Compton, Others Revealed as GFW Talents

Following the lukewarm response to the Global Force Wrestling roster reveal a week ago, a few more names for the GFW roster have apparently been leaked out.

A video promoting the GFW roster includes The Young Bucks, the current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team champions. Matt and Nick Jackson famously rebuked a WWE contract offer last year, and remain the most sought-after duo act on the independent/international scene. With the previous mention of New Japan stars such as Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson (both Bucks' stablemates in The Bullet Club), and Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr and Lance Archer), the Bucks seemed like natural fits for Jeff Jarrett's project. It makes one wonder if AJ Styles could be far behind.

Other intriguing names for the reveal include Luke Hawx, one of the more intense promos on the indy scene today. His viral, profanity-laden promos, calling out the likes of Styles and Matt Hardy, in the past few years have earned him high praise. Cliff Compton, formerly Domino in WWE, has made just as much a name for himself with his considerable speaking talents and fearless ring style, and will also be a part of the GFW launch.

Rounding out the remainder of the reveal are Sonjay Dutt (apparently an office worker for the company as well), Chuck Taylor, Tyrus (who I thought was still in TNA), Jigsaw, The Hot Shots, and The New Heavenly Bodies. Certainly, the Bucks, Hawx, and Compton add a little more gravitas to the company, though I'm some will argue it needs another true headliner or two in order to pique their interest.
