Chris Jericho Likes His House Shows Just Fine, Thank You

When he's not lobbing softballs to script-preferring heirs, Chris Jericho has been working the house show circuit infrequently for WWE, and looks to be on his way to working a few more shows, including in a tag team match with Dolph Ziggler at the end of June.

I have t admit, it's much preferable seeing part-timers work non-televised events where they can't deprive some year-round performer of a potentially-key storyline. The house show experience needs little jumpstarts like Jericho boosting a show here and there, since they're more about fan experience than telling the main stories. Jericho gets criticized for being Stephanie's personal Baba Wawa, but he's usually good for minding the necessary upward mobility of the roster.
